I am Simona Giancola, I am a 38 years old professional, originally Italian, with an international background. After having lived – for study and for work – in several European countries, I settled in the Netherlands 10 years ago.

I have worked and volunteered in the non-profit sector for over 15 years now, and had the pleasure to contribute to the success of a number of mission-driven organizations in the field of childhood development, sustainability and human rights.

During the last couple of years I found myself supporting many of my friends who become new mothers, and I am ever since a passionate advocate of mothers’ physical and mental well/being within my network. In my spare time I fervently read and keep learning about this topic.

I am thrilled to have started as Managing Director at Postnatal Support Network in the beginning of February, and to have joined such a great team and network of committed and inspiring people. With my strong vision and passion for helping women and mothers worldwide, my background in management, training and communication, my broad international network, and the energy and support of you all, I am committed to strengthen and benefit the Postnatal Support Network’s mission, members, beneficiaries and impact.
